Bureau of Labor Statistics -

A Report containing violent and property crime statistics and trends in 2016. Information gathered comes from the National Crime Victimization Survey samples of U.S. samples representative of the nation. The report highlights violent victimizations of those 12 and older, household crimes, stranger and partner violence, and motor vehicle theft.

The Bureau of Justice Statistics is a component of the Office of Justice Programs in the Department of Justice and is the primary source of criminal justice statistics in the U.S.
