A research center of the
UCR School of Public Policy
MPP Fellowships
The Center MPP Fellowship is a research training and funding opportunity for Master of Public Policy Students with an interest in learning more about criminal justice research. Center MPP Fellows will receive training in research methods, design, and be paired with a graduate student researcher—who will provide oversight and mentorship throughout—to work on a specific task that applies the training they received in support of one of the Center’s research projects. The fellowship is designed to provide research experience, training, and knowledge about a range of topics related to the criminal justice system for students. Those with no prior research training or experience, or training and experience in another method or on another topic, are especially encouraged to apply. The call for applications is posted on an as-needed basis and interested students are encouraged to check back throughout the year.
