The Presley Center leverages its connections with regional criminal justice agencies and community-based organizations that serve justice-involved populations to create enriching professionalization opportunities for UCR students. We are pleased to currently offer two programs offering external internships: an 8-week summer placement in partnership with the San Bernardino County Superior Court and a 6-month placement (June – December) in partnership with Riverside and San Bernardino County’s Office of the District Attorney, Office of the Public Defender, and Probation Department and the Riverside Police Department.

The Presley Center for Crime and Justice Studies is delighted to announce a new partnership with Restorative Justice Partners, Inc. as part of its 2026–2027 academic year external internship program.  Through this partnership, a select student will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting restorative justice initiatives while learning directly from practitioners working at the forefront of community-based justice reform.
