A report from Kern County Probation Department intended to evaluate the efficacy of Kern Day Reporting Center to reduce young, moderate to high-risk probationers’ risk to recidivate. Experiment conducted by probation staff examining recidivism rates of participants of Kern Day Reporting Center by organizing treatment and control groups. Study emphasizes Kern DRC significantly reduces recidivism and severity of those that recidivate.
