Crimes & Clearances Rates (1985-2018)
The CA Department of Justice is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting statistical data, “which provides valid measures of crime and the criminal justice process,”. The data compiled by the CA DOJ is submitted by county and local law enforcement and includes current and historical publications on crime, juvenile justice, homicide, and hate crimes in the state.
