The California Board of State and Community Corrections is an independent agency that provides leadership to the adult and juvenile criminal justice systems, expertise on public safety realignment issues, and functions as a data and information clearinghouse. The BSCC develops, maintains, and provides datasets to permit description of criminal justice trends, statewide and by county.

Measures:

  • Number of 1170(h) Offenders (sentenced to local custody, released to alternative custody program, returned to custody from alternative custody program)
  • Number of PRCS Offenders (booked on flash incarceration, booked during month, booked with new local charge, received jail time as result of revocation)
  • Number of State Parolees (booked on parole violation, received jail time as result of revocation, booked with new local charge, received local sentence)
